UX Research

After graduation, I was very fortunate to find an edtech startup with a vision for AI-assisted teaching that would give teachers the power to take back control over their time.

Over the past ~6 months, I’ve helped bring that vision to a reality!

Website

While building our website in Wix, I created a set of minimalist product graphics that draw interest to the app’s features without getting bogged down in details.

Current product

Further updates have been made since, and this page will be updated shortly!

(I will add videos instead of images soon to showcase more features)

All your teaching materials, organized

Teachers can create ‘units’ that compile many types of materials, or create one-off materials, e.g. a single lesson plan.

Future directions

  • Sorting, filtering, searching

  • ‘Today’s lessons’ at the top

  • More of a database/dashboard style approach

Principal-ready unit materials

Teachers can generate and modify all of the core content needed to define a unit, such as learning goals, assignment instructions, etc.

They can also create rubrics, test content, and modified assessments for students with learning needs.

Future directions

  • Overhaul interaction design, prioritize teacher input and choice, enabling us to get content right the first time

  • Remove need for unit form

Ready-to-teach lesson presentations

Teachers can generate customized lesson activities and lectures with accompanying teaching instructions, speaker notes, student handouts -- with full editing capabilities.

Future directions

  • Slide styles for diverse ages

  • More advanced interaction design for embedding images and video

Engaging activity generation

Teachers can select from many different activity options for each subject, and create student handouts

Future directions

  • Kahoot-style quizzes

  • Polls with data visualizations

  • Digital worksheets

  • Interactive small-group activities
